My name is Rebekah. You wouldn’t know it to look at me, but my life rocks. Yeah, I’m a stay-at-home-mom (homemaker just doesn’t describe me somehow), but I don’t live in a normal house on a normal street. I live on 10 acres of bush. I went to college, but not many girls take technology courses on how to run a wastewater treatment plant (luckily we learned other stuff too). I lived on a hobby farm when I was growing up, but it happened to be off the grid and heated with a wood stove (those stories are located in the History category). My first vehicle was a 1984 Toyota 4X4. I used to be a total tomboy. Now I’ve been known to occasionally file my nails instead of clipping them. But don’t get too excited…I still don’t own any nail polish.
My husband Darryl and I got married Old West-style about 3 1/2 years ago. I should post some photos.
I have many different interests that may come up on this blog. Read all of them or none of them or whichever ones you want. Feel free to live vicariously through me.
